This is the fifth installment of our 2016 new product innovations for the home blog straight from the International Builders Show (IBS) and Kitchen & Bath Show KBIS. These shows are the largest in the world and there are tons of great plumbing fixtures on display. Waukesha homebuilder, David Belman of Belman Homes, highlights some of the newest offerings that might find their way into your new home.
This is an exciting time if you are into plumbing fixtures as this is the very first opportunity to see all the newest faucets, sinks, toilets, and more for the first time. Each manufacturer comes out with what they think are the latest and greatest innovations and it is always fun to look back and see what sticks and what falls by the wayside.
This is one of the most competitive areas of the market and also a hotbed of innovation. Check out a few plumbing fixtures that caught our attention this year.
This amazing high end faucet features an articulating pull out spray head that can be bent to reach the far corners of your sink!
How about this manly bath hardware called the Rook, which borrows from industrial barbershop hardware as it’s inspiration.
Kohler updated it’s shower heads to feature more unique style sprays including the Exhale line which can give you full coverage, massage, rain, or silky smooth drops in your shower.
Free standing tubs continue to gain popularity and Kohler now offers a tub with a heated core so that your back is warm as you lay against it.
While many cringe at polished brass the new Moderne Brushed Gold may complete the style of your bathroom and offer a unique look to the often used silver hues.
