Nothing makes a bigger difference on a new home than the paint color you choose so here are some of the hot new colors for the year.
Get in the Mood:
Moody colors will be trend in 2018 especially for home offices and dens. Color experts at Sherwin Williams have four stunning colors that are sure to inspire luxury and fit the pallet. Don’t be afraid that the base colors are too bold as the darker tone in them dials down the color.
In The Navy-A deep dark blue
Oceanside-A dark teal blue that is rich and compelling
Cascades- A deep dark forest green
Borscht-A dark red wine color
A touch of this:
There are some really compelling accent colors this year if you want to go a bit outside the box without going two wild. Here are a few colors that feel fresh but not crazy.
Grapy-This soothing purple color just intrigues me and pared with a modest grey tone will wow your guests.
Rojo Dust-A red tinged color that is pleasing on the eye and goes great with warm neutral colors.
Acacia haze- as an opposite of Rojo Dust this cool teal and light green color is really pleasing to the eye.
Violet Verbena-A common thread with all these colors is crossing of the border between two colors. This sophisticated blue/purple is keeps catching my eye.
Safe Bets:
If you are looking for some colors that you can put in your whole home consider these colors:
Ellie Gray-A mid range grey that will really stand out with white woodwork.
Shell White-This color is a great blend of an off white and tan that can safely be put throughout your home.
Natural Linen-A clean tan neutral that is warm in tone.
