Dear Clients, Trades, and Vendors of Belman Homes,
As concern over the Corona Virus COVID-19 continues to develop we wanted to update our clients and our trades on our policies. Belman Homes will remain open during this time and continue to build and complete projects, however we will be limiting certain activities that could put our employees or the public at risk.
Face to face meetings and open houses are to be conducted by appointment only.
Virtual meetings and phone conference calls are highly encouraged during this time.
While we are completing projects, please understand that there could be delays if our supply chain is affected by this pandemic. Belman Homes has taken steps to order and stock items in advance to hopefully avoid any disruption to the schedule. Because we subcontract work on our homes, if any of our trades or vendors close down for an extended period of time this could potentially cause a delay on a project. We ask that all of our vendors promptly notify us of any supply issues or closures so we can promptly communicate those to our clients.
COVID-19 Information & Policy:
COVID-19 symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus, and may include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. If you develop these symptoms, have been in contact with an individual known to have COVID-19, or have traveled from an area with widespread community spread of COVID-19, please contact your physician and follow their recommendations. If you experience any of these symptoms you will be sent home from work.
Many people that develop COVID-19 may only experience mild, cold-like symptoms. However, we have many children and extended family members with underlying health conditions, compromised immune systems or respiratory conditions that make them particularly vulnerable if exposed.
We encourage all employees of Belman Homes to practice social distancing as well as frequent cleaning of hands and workspaces during this time.
We are also suspending any site visits to completed homeowner homes until the CDC guidelines are removed. For our Belman Homes customers, we will still honor warranty service calls but for the safety of our employees and our customers, we will be suspending these visits until 4-6-20 or longer if the CDC extends the social distancing guidelines.
Please understand that we have enacted these polices to keep all of our employees, trades, and clients safe; that is our first and foremost concern. The health of our employees, their families, our trades, our clients and other loved ones are our utmost priority.
