On December 1st, 2017 at the MBA’s Annual Installation Dinner, held at the Delafield Hotel in Delafield, Wisconsin, David Belman of Belman Homes, Inc. was awarded the 2017 Builder of The Year by the Metropolitan Builders Association. The award for Builder of the Year is the highest honor our Association can bestow on one of its members. A committee of past winners looks at criteria like integrity, business accomplishments, community service and overall contributions to the association. Most importantly, it looks for a member who has overcome personal and business challenges with the character and grace that truly embodies the word “builder” and all that it means.
David’s father, Don Belman won the award in 1996 and they are the first ever father and son to win this award in it’s over 65 year history. “We have worked hard to make Belman Homes a leader in the home building industry both as a builder, an industry advocate, and in our community with our work with Operation Finally Home. I am very humbled to receive this award, there are a great number of recipients of this award and it be included with them is quite an honor.” David Belman, President of Belman Homes, Inc.
